Dr kelly griffin

I graduated from Monash University with Honours in and commenced my training as a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Monash Medical Centre after working for two years at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I have also completed research into teenage pregnancy outcomes, thyroid disease in pregnancy and have published internationally and presented my work at conferences across Australia.

Most recently I completed my fellowship with a dual role as a Senior Registrar in both high risk obstetrics at Monash Medical Centre and general gynaecology in West Gippsland. I am involved in mentoring medical students and am an examiner for Monash University Medical School. I am also a training supervisor at Monash Health, overseeing the training of future Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

In order to keep my skills and knowledge up to date I attend meetings and specialist conferences throughout the year. I am delighted to be able to offer private care to the women of the Mornington Peninsula and surrounds. I believe that continuity of care is paramount to developing a strong relationship with her patients and that this leads to achieving the best possible outcomes.

I am committed to being available to my patients where possible and to manage their care with a personalised approach. I limit the number of pregnancy bookings available each month in order to achieve this and live locally to the hospital. When I am not available I ensure the availability of a trusted colleague 24 hours a day.
